A Strong Delusion

There is a great controversy going on and it seems to have been going on ever since the Lord Jesus was here. The great controversy is who was Jesus? Was he the Son of God or was he God. One group of people say he was God and the other group of people say he was the Son of God, but who was he? First, let’s look at the topic a strong delusion. What is a strong delusion?  A strong delusion is in spite of all the evident showing that something is a lie you hold to it as if it is true. Jesus said many would believe in him but it wouldn’t be according to what is written in the bible.

John 7:38 He that believeth on me (Jesus), “as the scripture hath said,” out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
That what is written in the Scriptures about Jesus.

1 John 5:9 “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater:” for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
Let us look at what the men of the bible have said about Jesus. Here is what John the baptize said about Jesus:

John 1:28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, “Behold the Lamb of God,” which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 1:32 “And John bare record,” saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him (Jesus).

John 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

John 1:34 And “I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.”

John said that Jesus was the Son of God, not that he was God as some of you say. Next is Peter one of Jesus disciples Peter said:

Matt 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

Matt 16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

Who Jesus was, was a controversy even in his days, and we know God is not the author of confusion. Therefore, all this confusion about Jesus has to come from Satan.

Matt 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

Matt 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Matt 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Matt 16:18 And “I (Jesus) say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock (foundation or principle) I will build my church;” and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

God revealed Jesus was his Son to John the baptize by the Spirit descending, and remaining on him. God also revealed it to Peter that this was his Son and Jesus went on to tell Peter that on this principle, which was that he was the Son of God, he would build his Church. Therefore, can you say you are in a true Church if you build a Church on the pretense that Jesus was God? When in fact the bible itself does not support such a belief. This is what the men of God said about Jesus of with whom some of you disagree with, funny thing is none of you or your preachers names are in the bible. Now what did God say about Jesus:

Matt 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Matt 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son,” in whom I (God) am well pleased.

Mark 1:9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.

Mark 1:10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

Mark 1:11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, “Thou art my beloved Son,” in whom I (God) am well pleased.

Luke 1:21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,

Luke 1:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, “and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I (God) am well pleased.”

Now we have the witness of God saying Jesus is his Son as well as God’s men, and some of you all still disagreeing about Jesus being the Son God, you twist the Scripture to your own destruction trying to make Jesus God.

1 John 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: “he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.”

Therefore, for you to reject Jesus as the Son of God is for you to reject God and call him a liar.

Is it sad how those that say they are Christians has brought into the lies of the so-called Jewish people. They claim that the land of Palestine belong to them that they inherited this land through the promise God made to Abraham. That this is the fulfillment of that promise God made to Abraham, and many have fallen for these lies. There is a problem with the whole story their telling the world. First when God bring or restore the true Children of Israel back to their land there will be peace and the protection of God upon his people: case and point:

Jer 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it (Daniel 12:1).

Jer 30:8 For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:

Jer 30:9 But they shall serve the Lord their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.

Jer 30:10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the Lord; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.

Jer 30:11 For I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.

Jer 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King (Jesus) shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

Jer 23:6 In his (Jesus) days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord Our Righteousness.

Jer 23:7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

Jer 23:8 But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

How can those living in Israel claiming their the true Israelite and their is no peace and Christ hasn't restored them to the land. How are they killing under the name of Abraham? who are these people, their differently are not the nation of Israel. No where in the scripture do you find that Israel would returning by the hands of the UN, clearly the UN is not God or Christ.

This small is a insert from CNN:

Voight, who he was "more the angry" use his soapbox to give a history lesson about Arab attacks on Israel since 1948 when the country was created through the United Nations, including the 1967 and 1973 wars. " And when Israel was not fighting a major war, it was not fighting a major war, it was defending itself against terrorist campaigns" he wrote. CNN

Clearly Mr. Voight  is ignorant of the Scriptures the UN has established this nation and not God. So yes those people are fighting the next group of invaders, the land of Palestine doesn't belong to either group of people. Beyond all that who are these people if God hasn't established them, this can't be the true Israelite because they would be living in peace. By their on admission they admit as well as history shows the UN has established this nation not God. So who are they?

In his name

How is there so much confusion about who Jesus was? Some say he was the Son of God others say he was God himself. But why must there be so much confusion, when we all have a bible that makes this subject plain. Today we have many people saying they believe in Jesus, but when it comes to the Scriptures, they don’t. Many people believe in Jesus but when I come to the Scriptures, they reject him not understanding what Jesus name represent and who he really was.  Jesus himself knows he is of great controversy, as well as his name. However, the Old Testament clears up the great controversy surrounding his name.

ISA 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and “his name shall be called” Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

His name, his name shall be called, the name of Jesus Christ is identify or associated with all these position of Authority and Power.

Matt 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Matt 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call “his name Jesus (The Prince of Peace):” for he shall save his people from their sins.

John 14:26 But the Comforter (Counsellor), which is the Holy Ghost, whom “the Father will send in my name,” he (the Counsellor) shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 17:6 I have manifested (revealed) “thy name (Jesus Christ)” unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

Matt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Matt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, “baptizing them in the name” of the Father (The everlasting Father), and of the Son (The Prince of Peace), and of the Holy Ghost (Counsellor):

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be “baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ” for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Acts 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that “by the name” of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Acts 4:11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: “for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Clearly it don’t get simpler then that you have to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ to be saved, fully submerge in water with somebody calling on the name of Jesus Christ, while submerge you in water. If you have not been baptized in Jesus name, the blood of Jesus has not been applied to your life and you are still in sin.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

1 Peter 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison (in hell);

1 Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were “saved by water.”

1 Peter 3:21 The “like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us” by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

The insert from the interpolate in verse 21 (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,)

Phil. 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Phil. 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and “given him a name which is above every name (Wonderful, his name):”

Phil. 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Phil. 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
