The Nation of Israel Fact or Faction

  Long overdue problem that needs to be address David Ben-Gurion the founder of modern-day Israel in 1948. He founded the nation of Israel on the bases that they were Israel of the bible. But was modern day Israel really founded on the bases of the Bible or was there some other sinister plot going on?   Did the powers that be, being the United Kingdom, France, Russian Empire, and the Kingdom of Italy, consider if this was the true nation Israel of the Bible or was it simply a partitioning of the Ottoman Empire?
